Association Familiale Mulliez

The Association Familiale Mulliez (AFM) is the holding company for the shareholdings of the widespread northern French family Mulliez. According to the will of the founders, only family members should be allowed to hold shares in AFM; In 2017, the approximately 700 family members held around 93 percent of the company's capital. The family is one of the richest in France. The total value of the investments is estimated at 40 billion euros. The AFM was founded in 1955 by Francis Mulliez and has been headed by Barthélemy Guislain since 2014.
