Vianney Mulliez

Vianney Mulliez (born March 5, 1963 in Roubaix ) is a French entrepreneur and manager .

Life

Vianney Mulliez comes from an entrepreneurial dynasty and is the son of Damien Mulliez, a cousin of the founder of the Auchan group, Gérard Mulliez . After attending school, he took up studies at the École des hautes études commerciales de Paris , from which he graduated in 1984. He then worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers for eight years , most recently in a management position. In 1992 he founded the trust company MBV & Associés, which he headed until 1998.

Mulliez was Finance Director of the Auchan wholesale and department store chain from 1998 to 2002 and Director of International Development for the Auchan Group from 2002 to 2004. From 2004 to 2006 he was President of Immochan and head of the real estate business of the Auchan Group. After the resignation of Gérard Mulliez, the board of directors of the Association Familiale Mulliez elected him on May 10, 2006 as its chairman. He held this position until the summer of 2010 when he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Management ( Président du conseil d'administration and président du comité exécutif ) of the Auchan Group as part of a restructuring of the company .

Vianney Mulliez is married and has three children.
