Modesto Rebollo
Modesto Rebollo de Esteban (born November 25, 1906 in Cerro Largo Department , † 1979 ) was a Uruguayan politician .
Modesto Rebollo attended the Colegio Militar from 1923 and completed his training there in 1927 as a lieutenant in the artillery. On December 30, 1933, he married Julieta García Pritsch, daughter of Casiano Emeterio García Moreno, in Montevideo . In 1954 he was appointed general. He was also director of the Instituto Militar de Estudios Superiores . Rebollo, who belonged to the Partido Nacional , was Cipriano Olivera's successor from April 13, 1961 to June 4, 1964, Minister of Defense of Uruguay.
