The striker plays for Army SC Colombo . Before joining the Army Club, he played for local rivals Ratnam SC Colombo .

National team

He is also a member of the Sri Lankan national soccer team and was part of the runner-up selection in his home country at the 2006 AFC Challenge Cup . He also took part with this in the AFC Challenge Cup 2010 . At this tournament he wore the number 6 on his back. Since 2004, he has recorded 28 international matches. He scored five international goals.
