Mohammad Ruman Shana

Mohammad Ruman Shana ( Bengali রুমান সানা Rumān Sānā ; born June 8, 1995 ) is a Bangladeshi archer .

Mohammad Ruman Shana has been taking part in international archery competitions since 2010. In June 2019, he won a bronze medal at the Hyundai World Archery Championship. He was the first archer in his country to win a medal in such an international competition. By making it into the top four of the competition, he qualified for participation in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo . No archer from Bangladesh has qualified for the Olympic Games before him. At the Asia Cupin the Philippines in 2019 he won the gold medal. Here, too, he is the first athlete in his country to show such success. In addition to the gold medal in the men's singles, he also won a silver medal in the men's team and a bronze medal in the mixed team at the Asia Cup.
