Mohammadi is a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh .
The city is part of the Lakhimpur Kheri district . Mohammadi has the status of a Nagar Palika Parishad . The city is divided into 25 wards . On the cut-off date of the 2011 census it had a total of 44,968 inhabitants, of which 23,643 were men and 21,325 women. Hindus form the largest group of the city's population with a share of over 49.8%, followed by Muslims with over 49.2%. The literacy rate in 2011 was 62.91%.
