AS Mohammed Safan (born February 6, 1998 ) is a Sri Lankan athlete who specializes in sprinting .

Athletic career

Mohammed Safan gained his first international experience at the Military World Games in Wuhan in 2019 , where he was eliminated in the semi-finals in the 200-meter run with 23.51 s and with the Sri Lankan 4 x 100 meter relay in 40.06 s took sixth place in the final. At the beginning of December, he finished eighth in the South Asian Games in Kathmandu in 22.29 s.

In 2018 Safan became the Sri Lankan champion in the 200-meter run.
