Mohammed ben Hamad al-Hajri

Mohammed ben Hamad al-Hajri ( Arabic محمد بن حمد الهاجري, DMG Muḥammad b. Ḥamad al-Hāǧirī ; Born October 1, 1968 ) is a Qatari diplomat and the current Ambassador of the Emirate of Qatar to the Islamic Republic of Iran .

Career

Al-Hadjri studied until 1998 and received his Bachelor in Cooperative and Administrative Studies.

From 1991 to 1996 he worked for the Ministry of Finance and from 1996 to 2000 for the Ministry of Health.

From 2000 to 2007 he was the Qatari consul in Yemen . Then from 2007 to 2012 he worked in the Qatari embassy in Greece .

In 2012 he worked briefly in the embassy in Libya . Then he was again positioned in Yemen in the Qatari embassy from 2013 to 2017.

Hajjri has been the Qatari ambassador to Tehran in Iran since 2018 .
