Mohsen Rezagholi

Mohsen Rezagholi (* 1957 in Tehran ) is a German computer scientist of Iranian origin. He has held the professorship for software engineering at the Faculty of Computer Science at Furtwangen University since September 2001 , has been Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science since September 2004 and Scientific Director of the cooperative doctoral program at Furtwangen University since 2012.

Life

Rezagholi received his doctorate in 1991 on the theory of fuzzy sets at the University of Frankfurt am Main . From 1991 to 1992 he was project manager in the application software and projects division at Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG , Munich. Between 1993 and 2001 he was Project Manager and from 1996 Principal Consultant in the Software and Engineering Division of the central research and development department of Siemens AG , Munich. From 1996 to 2001 he was a lecturer for software engineering at the Institute for Information Systems at Johannes Kepler University Linz . Since 2001 he has held the professorship for software engineering in the computer science faculty at Furtwangen University.

Research priorities

His areas of research and interests are software engineering, in particular requirements engineering and quality assurance, evaluation of software technologies and development processes, and software metrics.
