The best-known titles of the Bahn-Media Verlag are the Privatbahn Magazin and the job and career platform of the future branch of the railway. The Bahn-Media Institut, founded in 2014, belongs to the publishing house . history

Bahn-Media Verlag was founded on October 1st, 2003. The first magazine title was OHE Express , the corporate magazine of Osthannoversche Eisenbahnen (OHE), which appeared for the first time in 2005. In 2007 the publisher developed the Privatbahn Magazin . In 2009, the company was renamed and changed to Bahn-Media Verlag GmbH & Co. KG, as well as the development of the professional and career platform of the future rail industry. In 2014, the publisher founded the Bahn-Media Institute for Management, Quality and Transportation Cleaning. The institute is a practice-oriented research and training institution. It offers the railway industry scientific support on the topics of recruiting, management, marketing, logistics and transport cleaning. In the field of transport cleaning, the Federal Ministry of the Interior developed the VR 115 guideline in 2015 to standardize the cleaning and hygiene of public transport. The training manual for team leaders in vehicle cleaning was published in 2018.

Bahn-Media Verlag publishes specialist books on railway, technical and economic topics. Under the long-standing imprint WIEKRA Edition, the publisher also publishes books on a variety of topics from technology, culture and history.
