Molholm Shoal is a shallow area off the Budd coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . In the archipelago of the Windmill Islands , it is 160 m west of Molholm Island . The water depths are between 11 and 20 m.

The crew of the icebreaker USS Glacier discovered and mapped this area in February 1957. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1962 after the island of the same name. It is named after John Robertson Latady Molholm (* 1938), a glaciologist at Wilkes Station in 1957.
