Mombeja is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in Portugal in the county and district of Beja . The community had an area of 55.8 km² and 384 inhabitants (June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Mombeja and Santa Vitória were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Santa Vitória e Mombeja .
