Quintos is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in Portugal in the county and district of Beja . The community had and 265 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
Catarina Eufémia , a historical woman in Portugal's resistance against the Salazar regime , was shot and buried on May 19, 1954 in the Quintos cemetery.
On September 29, 2013 the parishes of Quintos and Salvada were merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Salvada e Quintos .
