Salvada is a place and a former freguesia (roughly: municipality) in Portugal and belongs to the district of Beja . The community had an area of ​​59.6 km² and 1129 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011). This results in a population density of 18.9 inh / km².

On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Salvada and Quintos were merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Salvada e Quintos . Salvada is the seat of this newly formed community.
