Monde du Cirque
The Monde du Cirque is a circus festival that was founded by Youri Messen-Jashin in 1984 and takes place every fourth year in a different city in Switzerland . It is supposed to arouse “enthusiasm for the extraordinary” and show all aspects of the circus.
The Monde du Cirque is organized on a large scale. Participants are acrobats , jugglers , tightrope walkers , fakirs , fire-eaters , clowns , musicians, magicians and cascadeurs, tamers , trapeze artists and pantomimes . Over a thousand artists worldwide and almost as many types of expressive art are available for this occasion.
