A Mongolian cone helmet is a helmet and a protective weapon from Mongolia.

description

A Mongolian cone helmet is usually made of iron . However, some versions were also made of silver like the one described here . The helmet shell is round in the lower area and becomes narrower in the upper area and tapers conically at the upper end. A round ornament is attached to the tip as well as four decorated ribbons that run from the tip of the helmet to the edge of the helmet and form a cross-shaped pattern. A silver shield is attached to the front of the helmet to protect the face and eyes from glare from the sun. The entire surface of the helmet, except for the shield, is decorated with engravings .
