Monica Jeffries (born October 31, 1985 in Łódź ) is a Polish singer , composer and producer . In her music she combines musical styles such as synth rock , synth pop and industrial pop.

Life

Monica Jeffries grew up first in Warsaw and from 1989 in Bielefeld . Her mother, a painter , and her father, a violinist , inspired her to make music. She began playing the piano in 1994 and the guitar in 1997, took singing lessons and from 2000 to 2006 gained experience in various bands. During this time she performed as a singer, composer and lead guitarist and learned to play bass and drums, among other things. From 2007 she was engaged in electronic music and in 2008 began to record in studios in Cologne, Hamburg and Munich, where she also worked as a producer. In 2009, Monica Jeffries released songs in collaboration with other artists and produced her synthpop debut album Back to Eden in 2012 , which was released in 2013.

Career

In 2014, artists and music critics from the electronic underground scene became aware of Monica Jeffries. As a special guest and tour support, she supported The Crüxshadows , Project Pitchfork , Front Line Assembly and DAF in 2014 and 2015 .

In 2016 Trisol Music Group released their EPs "Old Demons" and "In Circles" as well as their full-length album "Into Temptation" and the remix EP "Synth Diamonds" in collaboration with KMFDM , Psyche and Absolute Body Control.

She was seen live at festivals and in clubs in Germany, England, Poland, Italy, Russia, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Austria, Sweden and Belgium.
