Monica Silverstrand (born January 4, 1960 ) is a Swedish singer who specializes in country music and dansband .

At the beginning of her career Monica Silverstrand sang in the dansband Wizex , in the Melodifestivalen in 1980 she performed with the group Chips (band) under the name Barwén . She also appeared at the Melodifestivalen in 1993 and 1995, and played in the musicals Fame and Kristina från Duvemåla . In June 2003 she released her first solo LP, which contains country with rock influences, her second album Been There, Done That was released in June 2005.

Monica Silversted appeared in support in Kosovo , and in 1996 she starred at the opera Säffle in the musical Guldhatten by Thore Skogman. In 2005 she played in the musical Sol, Vind & Vatten at the Chinateatern in Stockholm.
