Monika Karsch (born December 22, 1982 in Schongau ) is a German sport shooter in the air pistol and sport pistol disciplines , who competes for the main shooting club in Regensburg .

At the European Championships in 2011, she took seventh place in the team competition with the sport pistol. Two years later she won the bronze medal in the individual and the silver medal in the team competition at the 2013 European Championships with the sport pistol. In 2014 she won silver with the air pistol in the individual and team competitions at the European Championships. At the 2014 World Championships, she took sixth place with the sport pistol in the individual and fourth place with the team.

In 2015, the first European Games were played in Baku . Monika Karsch won together with Christian Reitz in the mixed competition with the air pistol, in the individual she won the bronze medal with the sport pistol. At the European Championships in 2015, she took sixth place with the sports pistol. At the pre-Olympic World Cup in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, Karsch achieved fourth place with the sport pistol. The shooting competitions at the 2016 Olympic Games were held on the same facility . Monika Karsch was nominated for both pistol competitions. With the air pistol she was 25th over 10 meters, in shooting with the sport pistol over 25 meters she won the silver medal in the final against Anna Korakaki .

On November 1, 2016, she was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf - the highest sporting award in Germany - by Federal President Joachim Gauck .
