Monika Häberle (* 1962 in Heidenheim an der Brenz as Monika Korger ) is a former German epee fencer and modern pentathlete .
Athletic career
Korger started her career at Heidenheimer SB . She was trained there by Peter Kroner . At the German epee individual championships in 1987 , she won the women's singles title, which was awarded for the first time since 1927, and in 1990 came second behind her training partner Sabine Krapf .
Professional career
Monika Häberle studied sport and French as a teacher and is a senior teacher at the Klettgau-Gymnasium in Waldshut-Tiengen .
