Monika Winkler

Monika Winkler (* 1962 as Monika Grun ) is a German politician of the Alternative for Germany (AfD).

Life

Winkler worked as a journalist.

From the beginning of 2017, she headed the AfD party office in Harburg . Later she was an employee of the AfD member of parliament Harald Feineis . In the state election in Hamburg on February 23, 2020, she was number 3 on the state list. In the election she received 3030 direct votes and was elected as a member of the Hamburg citizenship via the state list . On March 5, 2020, Winkler announced that she would not accept her citizenship mandate for health reasons. Successor is Thomas Reich in sixth place on the list.

Winkler is married and has four children.

Positions

Her main theme is family. She wants to prevent sex education in daycare centers and primary schools because this is the responsibility of the parents. In addition, “ingratiation to homosexuals” should be ended and traditional gender roles should be strengthened.
