description

Monkcastle House is a Georgian country house with a rectangular floor plan. It has two full floors and a basement . It is made of ashlar . The front facade is divided into three parts: the two outer yokes protrude, while the three middle yokes are slightly set back.

The entrance can be reached via a stone staircase, is surrounded by painted stucco and has two pillars. At the edge of the roof the house has a cornice supported by consoles and a towering parapet . The attic with attic is probably of a later date.
