description
The classicist mansion is isolated on a spacious property around two kilometers east of Dalry. It was built around 1815, possibly based on a design by Scottish architect David Hamilton . The south-west facing front of the two-story building is symmetrical. The entrance portal is in the middle and is accessible via a front staircase with a decorated, cast-iron railing. The entrance area is designed with a portico with four Ionic columns. The two flanking windows are made with blind pillars and cornices . The two dormers are more recent. The building ends with a slate-covered hip roof .
