The Mons Argaeus is a mountain on the northeastern front of the moon on the edge of the Mare Serenitatis . To the south lies the crater Fabbroni , to the east a valley with the moon grooves Rima Carmen and Rima Rudolf . Its mean diameter is about 60 kilometers.

It was named in 1935 after a summit in Asia Minor that is now called Erciyes Dağı .
