Fabbroni is an impact crater on the northeastern front of the moon on the edge of Mare Serenitatis , northeast of Dawes crater and northwest of Vitruvius . The crater is bowl-shaped with a flat crater floor, the rim shows hardly any erosion.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1976 after the Italian chemist Giovanni Fabbroni .
