The Monte Aiona is a mountain in the northern Italian region of Liguria . It belongs to the Ligurian Apennines and reaches a height of 1701 meters. Together with Monte Maggiorasca , Monte Penna and Monte Groppo Rosso, it delimits the Val d'Aveto and lies in the Aveto Natural Park .
