The Monte Guina (in Argentina Monte Hirart ) is a mountain at the Graham Coast of Graham lands north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises about 1.5 km inland from Bigo Bay .
Chilean scientists named him after Alex Guina Queirolo of the Chilean Land Forces , a participant in the 8th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1953-1954) on the Rancagua ship to replace the team at the Bernardo O'Higgins station . The background of the Argentine naming is not known.
