Moon Taejun (* 1970 in Kimch'ŏn , Kyŏngsangbuk-do ) is a South Korean poet .

Life

Moon Taejun was born in 1970 in Kimch'ŏn, North Kyŏngsang Province . He made his debut in 1994 and has not published too many works yet. However, his great writing potential has already aroused the interest of many writers and critics .

Moon's poems speak soothing language that heals the wounds of the soul. His works try to alleviate the pain of those suffering from violence and oppression of an emotionally cold society. He particularly values ​​entertainment and emphasizes the complete empathy between two existences. He strives for a state in which subject and object merge and no longer show any difference. In this aspect he continues the lyrical tradition.
