Moor-Rolofshagen was a municipality in the north of the district of Northwest Mecklenburg in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Germany). It was administered by the Klützer Winkel office based in the city of Klütz . On June 7th, 2009 the communities Moor-Rolofshagen and Damshagen merged .

The area of ​​the former municipality lies in the triangle of the cities of Grevesmühlen , Klütz and Dassow , in the south of the Klützer Winkel . Boltenhagen on the Baltic Sea coast is about eleven kilometers away.

In addition to the namesake Rolofshagen and Moor, the districts Dorf Gutow, Hof Gutow, Kussow, Parin and Pohnstorf belonged to the municipality.

Parin Manor

The localities in the former municipality were first mentioned in documents around 1230, the district of Moor around 120 years later.

With the construction of private homes since 1993, the number of residents has developed positively, contrary to the general trend in Mecklenburg.

In Moor-Rolofshagen there lived 522 inhabitants (December 31, 2007) on 21.17 km². The last honorary mayor was Fred Knuth.

The community was formed on January 1, 1999 from the previously independent Parin and Moor communities and existed until the merger to form the new Damshagen community on June 7, 2009.
