Moračnik ( Serbian Морачник ) is a ten hectare island on the Montenegrin side of Lake Skadar .
At the southern end there is a Serbian Orthodox monastery of the same name , which was first mentioned in 1417 in a document from Balša III. was mentioned. The complex, which is surrounded by a stone wall, consists of a church with a central dome, a now abandoned residential building including a dining room and a four-story tower. Inside the church, traces of wall paintings from the 15th century can still be found today.
