The Morane-Saulnier MS.315 is a trainer aircraft produced by the French manufacturer Morane-Saulnier .

history

The MS.315 was developed on the basis of the company's successful aircraft from the 1920s and had its maiden flight in October 1932. A total of 346 units of the training aircraft were built for the military, 33 of which were only built after the end of the war by the SNCA du Center company. From 1960, 40 machines were equipped with a 169 kW (230 PS) engine from Continental and designated as MS.317. These were used as a tow plane for gliders.
