The Moreland Nunatak is an isolated Nunatak in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 25 km west of the Pirrit Hills .
United States Navy aerial photographs from 1961 were used for mapping purposes. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1964 after William B. Moreland, a meteorologist at Little America V station in the Antarctic winter of 1957.
