The Morgan Nunatakkers are a small group of Nunatakkers in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . They rise up as the southwestern foothills of the Sweeney Mountains .
They were discovered and photographed during the US Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–1948). The United States Geological Survey mapped them using their own surveys and using aerial photographs by the United States Navy between 1961 and 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the Nunatakker in 1968 after William Raleigh Morgan, who cooked at Eights Station in 1965.
