Moritz Höft

Moritz Höft (born December 3, 1980 in Bremen ) is a former German athlete.

He started for the sports club Tegeler Forst eV in the LG North Berlin . In 2007 he surprisingly won the 800 meter title at the German Championships in Erfurt and was able to defeat the favorite René Herms . His winning time was 1: 48.30 minutes. However, in the same year he had already won third place at the indoor championships in Leipzig.

After the German Championships in 2008, Höft announced the end of his career, as the trained doctor will no longer have enough time for training during his practical year.
