Moritz Anselm Sänger (born January 3, 1987 in Tübingen ) is a German photographer and filmmaker .

Singer has been taking photographs since he was 15 and was awarded for the first time in 2008 (as “New Talent of the Year”, 1 / AWARD). The award ceremony took place during the ART.FAIR 21 art fair in Cologne . From June 7th to June 20th, 2009, Sänger was able to exhibit his photo series “Work and Process” in the TEAPOT gallery in Cologne.
Singer studied photography, graphics and typography at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg until 2015.

Before his award in the photographic field, singer already made a name for himself regionally as a filmmaker. His film Zypressen , shot together with Peter Raiser , was shown from February 8th to February 12th 2007 in the Kino Studio Museum in Tübingen. The Schwäbisches Tagblatt wrote: “ For an amateur debut film of this length, Zypressen is surprisingly entertaining. It is true that the narrative sometimes unfolds so chaotically that no one apart from the authors will be able to follow it. This is compensated by a carefully constructed melancholy mood, which profoundly underlines the hero's suffering. There are some extremely beautiful pictures of Tübingen scenes: first and foremost a Fellini-esque unreal love scene at the fountain in front of the New Aula. The sophisticated assembly also reveals some talent that one would like to see tried out on a more mature story.
The follow-up work“ Every Your Action ”also attracted attention.
