At 905 m, Morne Seychellois is the highest mountain in the Seychelles . It is located on the main island of Mahé .
The mountain is covered by tropical rainforest and forms the center of the country’s largest national park , the Morne Seychellois National Park, with 3,045 hectares since 1979 .
The capital Victoria is about two kilometers northeast.
