The Morro Gutiérrez is a hill on Deception Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises east of the Punta Andressen headland on the banks of Pendulum Cove .
Scientists of the 12th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1957-1958) named him. It is named after Gustavo Cruz Cáceres, captain of the Angamos ship on this research trip .
