Morskranes [ ˈmɔskɹaneːs ] ( Danish name : Morskranæs ) is a place in the Faroe Islands on the west coast in the south of Eysturoy .

This small village was founded in 1877 and is located on the road from Strendur to Selatrað . It marks the beginning of the Sundini Sound, running to the north between Streymoy and Eysturoy.
