The Morton Cliff is a striking, almost vertically rising rock cliff in the northeast of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . With a height of 35 m , it forms the western level of the Williams Point .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the cliff in 1997 after Ashley Morton (* 1953), a survey assistant for the British Antarctic Survey .
