Mosenu (born August 3, 1993 in Berlin ) is a German rapper. He was under contract with Flers Label Masculin .

Life

Mosenu was born in Berlin, but shortly afterwards the family moved to Nürtingen , where he also grew up. He describes himself as a Roma and initially came into contact with Turkish and Gypsy music . It was only relatively late that he got to know the music of 50 Cent and began to be interested in hip-hop . He took his stage name from his little sister, who is called Selin, and his cousin, who is called Mohammed. From these he took the first two syllables and only added what in Arabic means “light” or “hope”.

Around 2016 he made contact with the label Macht Rap by Jaysus . It is also featured in the first M8 sampler . However, an artist contract did not materialize. Instead, he left the label's environment and started his own business. In-house production in April 2017, the published EP çorapz , then he published together with Dardan the track money counting machine . The two singles Raid and Hallo Ciao will follow in 2018 .

Eventually he discovered Fler, who featured him twice on his Conor EP and introduced him as a new artist on his label Masculin. With Fler, Mosenu entered the German charts for the first time.
