Dardan (rapper)

Dardan (born October 2, 1997 in Stuttgart ; real name Dardan Mushkolaj ) is a German rapper of Kosovar descent. He is also known under the pseudonym Mister Dardy . Dardan publishes his music on the independent label Hypnotize Entertainment . He has been under contract with Universal Music since March 2018 .

Life

Dardan grew up in red in the Stuttgart district of Zuffenhausen as the son of Kosovar Albanian immigrants from Deçan . His brother showed him the grime music style from England , which Dardan liked. He made music his inspiration and started rapping himself .

At the beginning of his career, Dardan Mushkolaj appeared under the synonym Sniperflow . At the end of 2016 he published the song Wer macht Para? Together with the rapper Eno . on YouTube , which became a viral hit with more than 29 million views (as of July 2020). The video led to Dardan being named one of the four most promising rappers for the coming year by the PULS radio station of Bayerischer Rundfunk .

On May 19, 2017, he published his first mixtape Hallo Deutschrap , which is only available digitally. Guest contributions by Olexesh , Mosenu and other rappers can be heard on the mixtape . The mixtape is characterized by grime and sometimes trap elements. Features with Nimo , whom he supported on his tour, followed a little later .

In 2018 Dardan released his debut album Dardy Luther King , which was released in three parts from March to August.

On August 16, 2019, Dardan released his second album Sorry , which stayed in the German charts for 3 weeks.

When the single Favela was released, the wrong song was released by his label, whereupon Dardan announced his retirement. The mistake was later corrected and the actual song was released.

His third studio album Soko Disko was released on June 5, 2020 .

He has been in a relationship with the German rapper Hava since 2020 .
