Eno (rapper)

Eno (born June 18, 1998 in Kovancılar , Turkey ; real name Ensar Albayrak ) is a German rapper of Kurdish descent.

Early life

Eno was born in Kovancılar , a district in Elazığ , and later grew up in Wiesbaden . The family emigrated from there when he was three and a half years old and initially lived under adverse conditions in Wiesbaden until his parents applied for asylum . Eno did not attend school until he was eight. As the only one from the close family environment, he has a school leaving certificate and studied civil engineering at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences .

Career as a rapper

Early beginnings

During his studies, he started rapping in 2016 and uploaded his first songs to YouTube . He initially called himself Eno183, based on his nickname and a zip code ending for Wiesbaden.

The first songs achieved respectable success on YouTube, so I want got about half a million views. Eno also participated in the format Von der Straße in the charts of rappers Celo & Abdi and their label 385idéal . His breakthrough came with the song Wer macht Para? along with Dardan , who received three million views on YouTube within a short period of time.

After Xatar signed him on his label Kopfticker , he paused his studies.

On January 5, 2017, his street album or mixtape Xalaz was released via Kopfticker Records. The album reached number 39 in the German charts. In 2017, the AMG2 track followed together with Azzi Memo , which reached number 8 in the German charts.

On May 11, 2018, Eno wanted to give a free concert to mark the opening of the Harput Burger fast food store in Wiesbaden. However, when 3000 people crowded the street, some of whom had come from Frankfurt, Hanau and the Saarland, the concert had to be canceled.

In 2018, Eno first released the singles Wäwä , Penthouse , Cane cane (together with Raschid Moussa ) and Mercedes , all of which were able to place in the German charts. His album Wellritzstraße was released on October 26, 2018 and was released via the main label Alles oder Nix Records .
