Moses Isegawa
Moses Isegawa (born August 10, 1963 in Kawempe , Uganda ) is a Ugandan writer who became known through his autobiographical debut novel Abessinische Chronik , published in the Netherlands in 1990 .
Isegawa attended a Catholic seminary and then worked for four years as a history teacher. From 1990 to 2006 he lived in Amsterdam . In 2006 he decided to return to Uganda again. In his novel Die Schlangengrube he addresses the recent political situation in Uganda.
