Mosuso Yama ( Japanese も す そ 山 'Rockberg' ) is a 2153 m high hill with a rounded peak in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the southern part of the Queen Fabiola Mountains, it rises to the southwest of Mount Gaston de Gerlache .
Japanese scientists took measurements in 1960 and named it in 1979. They named it that way because ice-covered moraines at the foot of the hill make it look like a rock .
