criticism
Critics accuse such trainers or coaches of doing pseudoscience . For example, in neuro-linguistic programming , which is very often used by motivational trainers, it is suggested that there is no evidence of the effectiveness of the techniques. Another problem with motivational training seems to be its implementation in the company environment if it is mainly used to motivate employees whose motivation problems are due to structural deficits in the work environment.
Demotivation training
In a satirical demarcation from the term motivational training, the French author Guillaume Paoli on the one hand and the MEP Nico Semsrott on the other hand describe themselves as demotivational trainers .
