Motugie is a tiny reef island in the southernmost reef rim of the Funafuti Atoll , Tuvalu .

geography

The island forms the southwest tip of the reef rim. The closest motu are Avalau on the southwest tip of the atoll and Motuloa in the east. It is located in the Kogatapu Conservation Area - South End .
