Mount Ashland is a 2,296 meter high mountain in the south of the US state of Oregon with the highest peak in the Siskiyou Mountains . The Rogue Siskiyou National Forest partially includes Mount Ashland.
It was named after the nearby town of Ashland in the northwest of the mountain. Approximately 762 cm of snow falls in winter. The mountain has been a winter sports area with an area of 80.9 hectares since the 1950s and is a destination for hikers and mountain bikers in summer. The ski area's parking lot is the start and finish point of the annual Siskiyou Out Back ultramarathon with a length of 50 kilometers. The Pacific Crest Trail long-distance hiking trail passes here on the south and east sides.
