Mount Band is a 1,173 m high mountain on the Scott coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Denton Hills, it rises east of Mount Pams in the Marshall Ridge ridge .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 1994 after the banding with colored lichen in the brown rock.
