Mount Brown is a 1982 m high mountain in Princess Elisabeth Land in East Antarctica . It protrudes 260 km east of the Vestfold Mountains and 160 km south-south-west of Cape Penck slightly over the surrounding Antarctic ice sheet .
Aerial photographs of the US American Operation Highjump (1946–1947) were used to determine his position. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain after Lieutenant Eduardo P. Brown (1916-2006), photographer of the western group of Operation Highjump.
