Mount Burley

Mount Burley is a 895  m high mountain on the north coast of South Georgia . It rises 3 km southwest of Doris Bay and about 2.5 km west of Mount Back .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1971 after Malcolm Keith Burley (1927-2010) of the Royal Navy , head of the British Combined Services Expedition (1964-1965) to survey this area.
